The ISO 9001:2015 certification promotes the development of continual improvement, customer satisfaction, traceability and international best practices within the Checkmate Fire organisation. Checkmate Fire aims to provide clients with the highest quality passive fire products and services. The ISO certification means clients can have increased confidence in Checkmate Fire and the service provided.

Checkmate Fire Solutions also holds several industry standards, which allow it to demonstrate a full understanding of the issues surrounding passive fire protection and the levels of regulation that relate to the field. “Checkmate Fire Solutions are registered in all three of the Building Research Establishment’s (BRE) core passive installer schemes, comprised of LPS 1197, which relates to the inspection of fire doors; LPS 1271, regulating the installation of new fire doors; and LPS 1531 that relates to passive fire protection and covers most forms of protection in this field,” says Patrick Murphy, CMO. “The BRE approval process involves a whole series of rigorous on-going checks and audits and it is because of this assessment process that the LPCB approval mark is recognised worldwide as a badge of quality for passive fire protection installation.”
