Contract secured

Clegg has been appointed as the principal contractor for the project by Meggitt, which is moving to a new site in Antsy Park, Coventry. The work includes the fit-out of a new manufacturing facility, completed in two phases, and will see the Clegg team modify its new facility to receive production equipment that will be transferred over from the old site.

Progress is underway at the 440,000 sq ft site, which will house an R&D hub as part of the project and will create up to 1000 jobs. The innovative facility will aim to combine a range of operations – such as aircraft braking systems, control systems, customer services and support and corporate shared services – all within a leading aerospace engineering and technology environment.
