Matrix Networks Begins Utility Installation for Prologis Park Hams Hall
Work has now started on site for utility infrastructure provider Matrix Networks to install gas and electricity connections for Prologis Park Hams Hall at Junction 9 of the M42 in Coleshill, Warwickshire.
Matrix Networks was awarded the work by main contractor Winvic earlier this year, and will install two main substations, two pad-mounted transformers for local street lighting, plus two gas governors. The connection point for the 8MVA electricity supply is located 700m off site at a local primary substation and the medium pressure gas connection, 300m off site.
Nayan Mehta, Matrix Networks Account Manager, said: “We have a wealth of experience delivering multi-utility contracts for distribution parks, but every project and client is unique. For Hams Hall, we’ve been tasked with delivering a significant contract within a tight timeframe. But, because our client Winvic has worked with us before, they know we’ll resource and manage the project appropriately, to ensure it is completed safely, on brief and on time.”
