BooBoo Plant Hire is expanding its demolition and construction plant hire business with an order of ten ProLight solar lighting towers from Prolectric Limited. The order means BooBoo Plant Hire can now provide environmentallyresponsible, smart, clean and low-maintenance temporary lighting as an alternative to conventional diesel-powered lights anywhere in the UK. The units can be delivered to site to provide bright, reliable lighting for demolition projects, urban infrastructure contracts and welfare compounds.

Taking delivery of the first three ProLight solar lighting towers from Prolectric at Prolectric’s headquarters in Clevedon, Somerset, BooBoo Plant Hire’s Director Terry Guilder said: “We have seen an increased demand for solar-powered equipment from contractors needing to meet more stringent emissions regulations in the capital as well as in other major cities.
